Record Searches, Copies and Certified Documents
Generally, a person seeking this information must come to the courthouse.  If you cannot make your request in person, please print and complete Search or Record Request Form for the appropriate division (see below).  To facilitate the search, please include as much information as possible when completing the form.

 Also, please note as set forth below, the requester will be responsible for statutory fees (See Section 27.2a of the Clerk's Act (705 ILCS 105/27.2a) which can include but are not limited to, the following: search fees; copying charges; certification charges (if necessary); and postage. Prior to processing the request, the requester will be notified of the charges and expected to remit advance payment.
