Clerk Dorothy Brown Kicks Off Mandatory E-Filing for Cook County Court TODAY

The Clerk of the Circuit Court successfully kicked off mandatory eFiling this morning in accordance with Illinois Supreme Court Order M.R. 18368, which required that effective July 1, 2018, all court users electronically file civil cases and that the Cook County Clerk’s Office transition its electronic filing service to eFileIL, the statewide system.

This year’s Expungement Summit will feature a guest appearance by Attorney Jarrett M. Adams, a native Chicagoan who was wrongfully convicted of sexual assault at age 17, freed through the Innocence Project after serving nine years, and went on to graduate from Loyola Law School in 2015. Adams is now an attorney who works with the New York Innocence Project.

Halsted St., Building W, Chicago, IL, on Saturday, June 2, 2018; registration begins at 8:30 a.m. and doors close at 6:00 p.m.
