How do I file my Reports of Proceedings?

In accordance with Supreme Court Rule 323, Reports of Proceedings (ROPs) may be included in a Record on Appeal.  There are two types of ROPs: court reporter transcripts and bystander reports.

ROPs (court report transcripts) must be submitted individually through the Electronic Appeals Filings submission portal [place link here] by the Court Reporter in a searchable pdf format.

ROPs (approved bystander reports) must also be submitted individually through the Electronic Appeals Filings submission portal one of two ways:

  • With a Circuit Court order certifying the bystander report.
  • With a stipulation of the parties.

Please review Supreme Court Rule 323 for all of the requirements associated with Reports of Proceedings.
