Files are available for check out and copying according to the terms of the Clerk's File Inspection and Review Policy and Procedure. Effective April, 1, 2002 , the Clerk of the Circuit Court of Cook County will require a File Request Form and a valid photograph identification card (Attorney Identification Card, Driver's License, State Identification Card, etc.) in order to inspect or obtain copies of public records. File Request Forms and Rules regarding File Use are also available at all file request counters located in the various divisions of the Office of the Clerk of the Circuit Court.
