Yes, the main functions for the Court Clerk Mobile Connect app rely on a live Internet connection on your mobile device. For example, searching for case data or retrieving facilities information. Therefore, the application will not load if a network connection is not detected on your mobile device.
Q: How current is the case information displayed in search results?
The Clerk of the Circuit Court strives to ensure that the data available through this app is current and consistent with the data available on the Clerk's Public Access Terminals. However, based on the procedures used to update the on-line databases, it may sometimes take a few days before updated information is available in the on-line electronic dockets. If you are looking for information on a very recent court filing or event, please check the Clerk's Public Access Terminals located in the courthouses or try the on-line system later.

The Clerk of the Circuit Court for Cook County introduced a new, innovative, mobile solution — the Court Clerk Mobile Connect app — for the iPhone and Android smartphone platforms. The mobile app provides the public with a quick, easy, 24/7 on-the-go access to court related information via their mobile devices. Key features of the mobile app includes:
Court Case Search
— The search portion of the application provides the ability to search the court's electronic docket for civil case types and traffic cases, as well as seaching the court call roster for civil case types. Users can save electronic docket searches to make it easier for future access. Electronic docket searches allow searching across ALL civil case types divisions for a consolidated listing, and then provide the ability to filter that listing using keywords such as first name, case type or description.
— The facilities portion of the application provides location and contact information for all Cook County court facilities.
— The fee schedule portion of the application provides the most current fees for court related costs.
Q: What mobile platforms support the Court Clerk Mobile Connect app?
The Court Clerk Mobile Connect app will be available on iOS (Apple) and Android smartphones. The iOS version will be available in the Apple App Store and the Android version is available through Google Play. To use the Court Clerk Mobile Connect app, users will need to have one of the following compatible mobile devices:

What information does the Application obtain and how is it used?
User Provided Information
When you use the Application, you generally provide information you enter into our system when using the Application, such as contact information and case information.
We may also use the information you provided us to contact you from time to time to provide you with important information, required notices and upcoming official Clerk's office events.
Automatically Collected Information
This Application may collect certain information automatically, including, but not limited to, the type of mobile device you use, your mobile devices unique device ID, the IP address of your mobile device, your mobile operating system, the type of mobile Internet browsers you use, and information about the way you use the Application.
Does the Application collect precise real time location information of the device?
This Application does not collect precise information about the location of your mobile device.
Do third parties see and/or have access to information obtained by the Application?
No, we do not share information obtained by the Application with third parties.
What are my opt-out rights?
You can stop all collection of information by the Application easily by uninstalling the Application. You may use the standard uninstall processes as may be available as part of your mobile device or via the mobile application marketplace or network.
Data Retention Policy, Managing Your Information
We will retain User-provided data for as long as you use the Application and for a reasonable time thereafter. We will retain Automatically Collected information for up to 24 months and thereafter may store it in aggregate. If you’d like us to delete User Provided Data that you have provided via the Application, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org and we will respond in a reasonable time.
We do not use the Application to knowingly solicit data from or market to children under the age of 13. If a parent or guardian becomes aware that his or her child has provided us with information without their consent, he or she should contact us at email@example.com. We will delete such information from our files within a reasonable time.
We are concerned about safeguarding the confidentiality of your information. We provide physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to protect information we process and maintain. For example, we limit access to this information to authorized employees and contractors who need to know that information in order to operate, develop or improve our Application. The services and data provided by the App are for your personal and non-commercial use and must be used in compliance with the Illinois Clerks of Courts Act, 705 ILCS 105/0.01 et. seq., the Administrative Office of the Illinois Courts’ (AOIC) Electronic Access Policy for Circuit Court Records of the Illinois Courts, the AOIC Manual on Recordkeeping, General Administrative Order 02-03 of the Circuit Court of Cook County, and all other legal requirements. You may not modify, copy, distribute, transmit, display, reproduce, publish, license, create derivative works from, transfer or sell any information obtained from this App.
