Beginning July 1, 2017, and pursuant to the Illinois Supreme Court, III. S. Ct., M.R. 18368, the Clerk of the Circuit Court of Cook County (“Clerk” or “Clerk’s Office”) shall electronically prepare and file the record on appeal for all areas of law.
Except as provided by court order or Cook County Circuit Court Rule, in order to transmit the record on appeal from the trial court to the reviewing courts, all filers must electronically submit applicable documents through the Clerk’s electronic appeals submission site. Please access the Clerk’s Office E-Appeals Filings site through this link.
Note: Use of the Clerk’s Office electronic appeals submission site is limited to validated filers or their attorneys who have filed a Notice of Appeal which is pending before a reviewing court. Notices of Appeal may be filed electronically or conventionally with the Clerk of the Circuit Court of Cook County.
You may only use the Clerk’s Office’s E-Appeal Filings site if you have an appeal pending in your Cook County Circuit Court case.
