Cabrini Green Legal Aid’s expungement help desk provides information on how to clear a criminal record in Illinois through expungement, sealing, clemency and other forms of relief. We may also prepare same-day petitions to expunge and/or seal eligible offenses based upon capacity.

If you have been arrested by the Chicago Police Department, you must have a copy of the Chicago RAP sheet to receive legal assistance for expungement. RAP sheets are available from the Chicago Police Department’s Access and Review Division at 3510 South Michigan Ave. Access and Review is open from 8:00 a.m. - 1:30 p.m., Tuesday - Thursday and the cost is $16.00.
