Court Data Requests

The Clerk of the Circuit Court of Cook County oversees the case management system for all civil and criminal cases filed in the county, also known as Odyssey. 

However, requests for bulk data from this system are governed by the Office of the Chief Judge under order General Administrative Order NO. 02-03 – Bulk Electronic Data Dissemination Policy and that Office retains the authority to authorize release of such data.

Under this policy:

• Requests must be made to the Office of the Chief Judge in writing at OCJ.press@cookcountyil.gov.
  • Please detail the time frame and fields of data you are seeking. 
• If the Office of the Chief Judge approves some or all of the request, it will be forwarded to the Clerk of the Circuit Court for compiling and release.
