The Illinois Supreme Court Rules Committee will be holding a public hearing on Thursday, April 9, 2026, beginning at 10:00 a.m., at the Administrative Office of the Illinois Courts, 222 N. LaSalle Street, 13th Floor, in Chicago. You can find the Public Hearing Notice here:

The Clerk of the Circuit Court can only provide information about the operations of our office. We are prohibited by statute and rule from taking any action such as accepting filings or other official communications (i.e., requests for continuances, etc.) via e-mail or telephone. We are also prohibited from rendering legal advice. If you have a scheduled court appearance, you must appear personally or send a representative. Those who require legal information or legal advice are advised to consult an attorney or a legal services provider
