Metropolitan Water Reclamation District Dedicates Building in Honor of Clerk Spyropoulos

The Metropolitan Water Reclamation District of Greater Chicago (MWRD) dedicated the disinfection facility in Skokie in honor of Clerk Spyropoulos. The ultraviolet (UV) water disinfection facility is now named The Mariyana T. Spyropoulos Disinfection Facility at the O’Brien Water Reclamation Plant.

Clerk Spyropoulos Takes Oath, Pledges to Open Doors to Justice System

December 2, 2024, Cook County - Mariyana Spyropoulos laid out her plans to improve transparency, accountability and accessibility within the justice system after taking the oath of office Monday as the new Clerk of the Circuit Court of Cook County. 

“The Clerk’s Office is the front door to our justice system,” Clerk Spyropoulos said.
